Jardine Schindler Forest Expanding our forest by planting 1,000 more trees in Indonesia
To reinforce our focus on sustainability, Jardine Schindler Forest, the first large-scale tree planting initiative, was launched previously in June 2021 to celebrate the World Environment Day. 1,000 trees were planted in the Philippines, which will be sequestering 250,000 kg of carbon dioxide over their lifetime.
This World Soil Day in December 2021, we are expanding our forest by planting 1,000 more trees in Dukuhseti, Indonesia. The initiative also allows us to provide local employment opportunities to farmers and support families in need.
Restoring the planet requires our continuous efforts. We are committed to continue to grow the forest, building our international green presence, and creating a sustainable world.
